About Venesse:

Venesse Lewis is the founder of Niya’s Coily World (NCW). Our flagship children’s book is about a young girl’s journey to embracing her coily, afro hair. NCW is a platform for black hair empowerment and improving access to textured hair care education. By showcasing the beauty of black hair, and promoting cultural awareness, we are making space for a larger conversation of learning and loving afro textured hair. Join the coil world!
