Wellness Warriors / Menovive Support:

At Wellness Warriors/Menovive Support, our mission is to deliver empowering holistic health and wellness solutions specifically designed for Black women. We are dedicated to providing specialized support for menopausal women, addressing their unique needs with comprehensive and personalized care. Through MenoVive, we aim to offer a wide range of resources and support to help Black women navigate the challenges of menopause and achieve overall well-being.

About Farah Lahens:

Farah is an experienced Self Help & Peer Support Facilitator at the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Waterloo Wellington in Kitchener, Ontario. With a strong background in social service support work, Farah has made significant contributions to organizations such as the Caribbean Canadian Association of Waterloo Region’s Black Youth Mentorship program. Farah has deeply passionate about mental health and wellness, particularly within the Afro-Caribbean Black community. Farah leads a virtual Afro-Caribbean Black Wellness Support group as part of CMHA’s Self Help & Peer Support program, which meets weekly. In addition, Farah is actively participate in community events such as the Shoppers Drug Mart Run for Women to support women's mental health initiatives. Farah is a proud member of the Congress of Black Women Waterloo chapter and am dedicated to fostering inclusive and supportive mental health and wellness environments, making me a valuable asset to the community.

Fun Fact:

Farah radiates positive energy and enjoy bringing happiness to those around me. Farah incredibly passionate about fitness, music and dance. Whether it's a vibrant cultural festival, outreach or a fitness event, Farah always add a touch of fun and creativity. Farah firmly believes that laughter and movement are essential for our mental well-being, and nothing makes me happier than seeing people unite, interact, and have a fantastic time.
